Hello and Welcome to the Invicta Mountaineering Club (IMC) website. The IMC is formed entirely from volunteers from within Scouts and Guides.

Our Aims |
| |
Our aim is to provide and encourage the safe participation in all aspects of hillwalking and climbing for of all ages within Scouts and Guides.

Our Members |
| |
We are based in Kent and have a membership in excess of 50 keen hill goers but our events are enjoyed by 100's of Scouts and Guides from across the county. Our members are a broad mix, from the low level ramblers to crag bound danglers. However, the majority fall in the middle and enjoy a bit of everything climbing, walking, abseiling and scrambling and the ages range from 8 - 65 years. |

How
do I join the IMC? |

To join the IMC you need to be a member of the Scout or Guide Association.

Our Activities |
| |
We aim to run at least one large scale residential event a year currently run around.
All our activities are run in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the two organisations.

Under 18? Great news, you get free membership to the IMC. Simply send an email to membership@theimc.org.uk
Everyone else a years membership is just £5.00. |

do the IMC members meet? |

We don't have any fixed venue for our meeting as it depends very much on the activity in question. |
