  October 22 - 24, 2010
  A hill-walking weekend in Snowdonia . Camping and self-catering. There may be expedition opportunities. Minimum age 13 years.

  Winter Walking Weekend
  February 18 - 20, 2011
  The aim of this weekend is to give participants experience of walking in winter conditions, including the use of an ice axe and crampons if conditions are suitable. We provide nice warm indoor accommodation, breakfasts and Saturday evening meal plus all specialist equipment and authorised, experienced adult leaders for each group. Minimum age 12. Cost tbc.

  Winter Walking
  February 20 - 27, 2011
  A week in Scotland to give potential Activity Permit holders experience of walking in proper winter conditions. Weather conditions permitting, participants will be able to practise avalanche awareness, ice axe arrests, cutting steps, snow and ice belays, building snow shelters and navigation in poor visibility. Adults and older Explorers with some previous hill walking experience. Cost tbc
