Hill walking and Scrambling, Lake District

28th May 2019

A regular haunt for our winter trip, this is the first time the club has returned to Coniston since the St Andew's centre closed down. The weather was more reminiscent of winter than summer but we took that as it came and got in some quality, if wet, walking, scrambling and wild camping.

Just to say thank you for organising the Coniston weekend. Although the weather was a little challenging, I enjoyed my weekend in the hills and was pleased to have added some new yellow pen to my maps!
