Putting members of Kent Scouts in touch with each other to sell used hillwalking and mountaineering kit.
The ethos of the IMC Kit Mart is "Pay it forward".
For a fair price, yes, but not to make a large profit or simply to unload unwanted junk.
We work on the premise that "A scout is to be trusted". Even so, all submissions are moderated before posting and you must supply at least 1 photo of the item you are selling.
The Kit Mart is free of charge and IMC takes no commission from it, or accepts any responsibility for the kit that is submitted.
All negotiations and transactions are strictly between buyer and seller. IMC will not enter into any negotiation or arbitration on behalf of either party.
The admins reserve the right to refuse to post any item they consider to be inappropriate or to be blatant profiteering. For safety reasons, climbing kit with lifetime expiry dates (such as ropes, slings, harnesses, helmets) will not be posted.
All notices will automatically be taken down after 12 months but let us know if your kit has been sold to stop you receiving needless enquiries.
