Training & Assessments 22

Back to Cornel and the Crimpiau for this year's training and assessment weekend:  11 people on this trip with 3 for assessment (including a first time permit applicant), 3 for training plus a trainee assessor – as well as the assessment team. Some new faces amongst the group, which is great to see.

The weather on Saturday was pretty grim but that made for some hard navigation conditions meaning that once again we didn't have to spend so long out in the dark. It wasn't much better on Sunday which made the rope work quick a challenge for both the trainees and the assessees. 2 permits renewed and a lot of learning done, not least with regards to how waterproof jackets really are!
