A new venue for this year's assessment weekend, Cornel Scout Centre north of Capel Curig. With Snowdonia living up to its name, it was a chilly Saturday on the hills for the two groups, one doing assessments and the other training. Sunday was a glorious day with both groups out for the security on steep ground and rope work sections of the syllabus. Two more hill walking permits in the bag and another couple well on the way to achieving the same goal.
