Another year and another disrupted trip – this time both Covid and the weather combined!
Ongoing Covid restrictions at the beginning of the year meant that we couldn't realistically run the trip as planned. As we had already paid for the Yr Hafod booking, the trip went ahead but with drastically reduced numbers, just for adults, and by invitation only. This was a blessing in disguise as the weather was truly awful, enough to have cancelled the trip in different circumstances. However, a handful of permit holders attended what was effectively an extreme weather training weekend. Conditions were...challenging to say the least and we were all blown off our feet several times!
