Winter Mountaineering, Yr Hafod, Snowdonia

14th February 2017

Back to Yr Hafod in Snowdonia for our annual Winter Mountaineering trip. Snow conditions underfoot were pretty thin this year but near gale force winds on the tops and snow falling for most of the day on Saturday certainly made for a full-on winter day out on the hill.

Due to a forecast for even stronger winds, all groups stayed low on Sunday morning with plenty of navigation and rope work practice going on in Cwms Idwal and Bochlwyd.
